Day one will be an opportunity to get out and get on the rock and see where we're at, looking at core, fundamental areas to build a solid base of skills, knowledge and confidence. We will see where we are at in terms of lead climbing and ensure we have a solid base to build upon before looking at multipitch techniques in the afternoon.
On day two, we get some mileage under our belt and apply our learning from day one on some different climbs, focusing on changeovers, stance management, how to retreat if need be and retrieve our ropes. Also a chance to ask questions or cover any specific skills requested.
Ideal for those with some experience looking to develop their skills and tackle more engaging routes. These climbs provide a mix of challenge and progression, offering the chance to refine technique, improve movement, and gain confidence on steeper or more exposed rock.
Previous climbing or scrambling experience is helpful but not essential. A reasonable level of fitness is required, as these routes may involve sustained effort or multiple pitches. You’ll build on foundational skills with techniques for route finding, movement on vertical terrain, and safe belaying practices.
