Tower Ridge, highly regarded as the finest mountaineering route in the country, with its length, technicality and exposure make this ridge feel more Alpine in nature. From walking in towards the CIC Hut, you start to realise why it's called Tower Ridge! It dominates the view all the way to the summit of Ben Nevis. A great day out with one of our guides who will make this a very memorable day in the mountains.
Agags groove, in some peoples opinion the best climb in the country at the grade, Very Difficult (Vdiff) With vistas out to the expanse of Rannoch Moor and the sheer scale of the imposing 'Herdsman' we weave our way through some very impressive scenery climbing on the old volcanic rock to the base of crowberry tower where we scramble our way to the summit for the breath taking views of Glencoe.
Quiver Rib, another Diff classic climb in Glencoe. Located on the east face of Aonach Dubh. We weave through impressive scenery to get to the base before kitting up and climbing this iconic line. Taking in the iconic views as we make progress up the climb, we catch our breath at the top before heading down Corie nan Lochan.
On the western most point of mainland Scotland, Ardnamurchan has an isolated feel to it, making it extra special to climb here. The routes are a little shorter and means we can have a more relaxed day and tick off a few rout.es along the way. Classics such as Leac Glas, Ne er Day Corner and Gall.
Another real classic, 4 stars in the guidebook and for good reason. The remote setting and work to get to the route makes it all that more special when on the rock. Slab climbing at it's best and rounding off a great week on classic climbs. We just hope the weather plays ball!
